This is because with his evil music (AKA Never Gonna Give You Up) can kill any meme. Because of this, almost nothing can take him on. However, he can be killed. One of the best examples was when Gabe Newell sacrificed his half life 3 to kill him. However, once he is gone, Mr. Illuminati will be able to take over the world, so most memes just accept his existence.
